Jim Molleur is the founder of Molleur Law Office. He is a frequent speaker for Bankruptcy Continuing Legal Education Programs for the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Maine State Bar Association, the National Business Institute, and for the District of Maine Biennial Conference at the United States District Court.
Jim has also been a speaker for the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees, the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, and the Southeastern Bankruptcy Law Institute. He is a Certified Specialist in Consumer Bankruptcy Law and was certified by the American Board of Certification.
In addition, the American College of Bankruptcy invited Attorney Jim Molleur to become a fellow of the college. Jim was born in 1954 in Rochester, New Hampshire. He started off his education at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine and completed it at the University of Maine School of Law in Portland, Maine. Afterwards, he was admitted to the Maine State Bar Association in 1979 as well as to the U.S District Court of Maine. He was admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals 1st Circuit in 1998 and he was admitted to the U.S. Supreme Court in 2011.
